Are you romanticizing "what could have been?"

=======================

I used to fantasize about how life would be had I become a millionaire. I imagined the guarantee of happiness, comfort, travel - every good thing a girl's heart could desire. Right?

Well I recently had to admit the potential pitfalls of getting what I want, when I want it. I mean, some people get rich and turn into the assholes they said they'd never become. I have no idea if I dodged a bullet or missed a chance to see Dubai. Either way, age and wisdom have taught me the folly of romanticizing what could have been.

I felt compelled to share about this romanticism after witnessing a woman in her 40's lament about how much better her life would be if she just had a better mother. What she went on to describe sounded less like the destruction caused by a bad mom and more like the woe of a woman who forgot her power to create beauty in her own life. And I was heartbroken for her.

Do you believe you're here for a divine purpose? Do you have a desire to live my old coaching mantra:

Be bold, courageous, and unapologetic in creating a life you love to live.

If so, you must believe with an open heart that everything you encountered, experienced, learned and even suffered was designed to build the powerful woman you plan to become. And even if you don't believe your challenges were designed for that purpose, you can grab that bull by the horns and simply MAKE IT SO. Use those trials to BUILD. Every contraption in your bucket of life can serve as a tool for your growth and success. As the Bible says... Beauty for ashes.

I'm not actively accepting coaching clients, but I do offer one-hour sessions to those who can use a lift on their journey. If you're a woman looking to dive into your bucket of "stuff" and convert it all into tools for a powerful future, I have a seat for you... Book a session here.
