I always say clean food is a natural appetite suppressant. Ultra processed foods loaded with wheat/grain, sugar, MSG, etc. are designed to turn off your "full" switch. And I learned something this week: I don't like feeling full.
Since starting this journey, I have mostly eaten relatively light. Not on purpose... just by natural design. Some days I will literally look around at 1PM... 2PM... and think, "Did I eat anything yet today? I feel a little hungry."
Earlier this week, we went out to eat and I had Brussels sprouts for an appetizer and risotto for dinner. Although I only ate less than half of the risotto, I found myself feeling a fork past full. And I didn't like the feeling. At all. It was heavy and dripping with lethargy - something I never put much thought into before.
I'm approaching the 2-month mark and loving every minute of this experience.
