For as long as I have been studying the body and the principles of health, I'm still excited when I learn something new.
Ultra-processed foods are simply the crap we eat - loaded with ingredients we can't pronounce. And today, I learned that Maltodextrin is hiding in plain sight as a substance higher on the glycemic index than table sugar (another no-no). After watching this video, I went on a fact-finding mission which will result in avoiding this ingredient at all costs.
The fastest way to do so - Just skip the trashy non-foods hiding behind "food" labels. I plan to post about this in more detail soon...
